At Cedar Valley Wealth Advisors we provide our clients independent investment advice and asset management. Since we sell no products, you can be sure our investment recommendations are focused on your needs, not on commissions. We work with you to determine your financial goals and provide specific advice that matches your investments to your goals. We manage your investments using low-expense, low-turnover, broadly diversified funds designed to deliver specific asset class returns. We don’t “play the market.” We provide ongoing review and consultation.
Bob Heaton, CVWA member, began providing competent, independent and knowledgeable investment advice in 2001 to clients of Heaton Adams Financial Services, a division of the certified public accounting firm Heaton Adams and Company.
In 2010 Karla Hoppes joined Bob to provide assistance to his financial services clients. Karla’s past experience as manager of a registered investment advisory firm along with her knowledge of Dimensional Fund Advisors’ mutual funds made her a great fit for our firm.
In 2014 Bob formed Cedar Valley Wealth Advisors with Karla Hoppes to provide further in-depth investment counseling to our clients. You’ll find us in our newly remodeled space in the iconic former Porter’s Camera Warehouse in Cedar Falls. Stop by and say hello. We can’t fix your camera or sell you photo cartridges, but we’ll be happy to offer you a cup of coffee and some sound advice on bringing order and knowledge to your financial and investment life.
